That would be the best thing to do. Otherwise, people just screw a knock sensor to the head just behind the cam gears on the intake side and plug it in. Most people just run the wires where they go.

So you think I should install the knock sensor for be safe better then sorry?

Somebody explain to me that I need to remove the transmisson for the installation of the sensor, so It's seem have different way to go, but I really prefer your suggestion.

What do you suggest for the vtec pressure sensor, because I don't have this sensor on my jdm head.

the knock sensor is located under the intake manifold above the alternator. You dont need to take off the tranny to put that in. whoever told you that doesnt know what he's talking about.

the oil pressure you'll need to buy a complete vtec solenoid and swap it out. For some reason the Jdm motors only have the vtec solenoid in them. If you need to purchase solenoid let me know

For curiousity's sake, would you be able to simple wire the knock sensor to the ECU and NOT put it to the block ? Will it run correctly ?

I don't have any hole for the knock sensor on my block (b18b) and for this reason I check for the better way to go.

I know that a lot of guys don't install the knock sensor but I am not sure if it's a good idea ?

No K/S = CEL

You can thread the b18b block to attach a KS
