Default knock sensor

ok so iv posted on here alot before i put a d15b jdm single cam vtec swap in my car an i new i didt have a knock sensor and my harness has the plug for it its a 1999 civic ex coupe so i finally got a knock sensor i pluged it in but i just let it hang there now i still get the same code for the knock sensor so but the sensor need to be grounded or what?

I think your gona have to either run it with the CEL on if thecar runs fine without the knock sensor plugged in or chip the ecu. cuz im assuming that the ecu your running is not jdm so its gona read for the knock sensor. Correct me if im wrong

yea its a p2p odb2b vtec single cam it wont pop vtec without the sensor i plug the sensor in the check engine compes back and vtec dosnt engauge

wire it up pin out is d6 very easy to do and then u will pass inspection too...

haha no inspections down here my ecu has the wiring for a knock sensor the motor just dosnt have a place to put it the on the block its plugged in i still get the code tho

yo idk if u have power stearing but if you do their is threads on how to drill it out and put the knock sensor in soo it stops the code.... g/l il look for it and try and post up the link..
