Default (Help)Fast Idle problem!

I just install a AEBS manifold and now my car is reving at 2200rpm. I took off my intake tube and check if the two vavles inside the throttle body was working but only the Idle control vavle(top hole) is sucking, and not the Fast Idle(bottom hole). What can be causing the fast idle not to suck?
I replace the intake manifold gasket with hondata and bought a new 99 si TB gasket.
The motor is a jdm B16 in a eg6.

What does the bottom fast idle do or control? I installed a edelbrock throtle body and it idles high too.

you mean your car is idleing @ 2200 rpms? there must be a vac leak in order for the high idle. did you bleed the coolant that spilled out when you disconnected the IAVC when u took off the IM? what does the car idle at when warm or cold ?

disconnect the IACV and see if the idle levels out. that will probably do nothing. most likely you have an intake leak. youre fuel system is a speed density system, where the main fuel input to the PCM is youre MAP sensor. The MAP sensor senses manifold vacuum and compares it to the baro senser built in. If manifold vacuum is low, such as a vacuum leak it thinks that you are on the throttle. Even with the TPS low it listens to the MAP becuase the MAP is its top priority, or its main input. So it treats a vacuum leak jus that same as you stepping on the throttle, more air more fuel. Take some propane or carb cleaner and spray it all around the manifold and listen for a smoothing of the idle, or and RPM change. you will notice a dramatic differnce when you spray the vacuum leak but most likely its coming from youre manifold gasket. good luck.

Put you hand around the TB and manifold to check for leaks, there must be one somewhere. Also make sure your coolant is bled properly
