just put a z6 into a 94 dx swap went fine but now the engine wont start.. found that the plugs were getting no spark so i changed out the coil pack figured it was fried.. wrong still didnt work so i took the dis and put it in my buddies z6 and started right up.. now the only thing that is now wired in is the vtec itself but shouldnt it atleast start up?? im gunn try wireing it in tomarrow and see if that helps... now i have been told that the motor should run with out the vtec hooked up now is this true..i need some suggestions so i can get this car finished and rolling down the line..

double check all of your wiring. your engine does not vtec "wired up" to run but you need to have all critical wiring correct.

 

well i didnt cut the harness anywere and everything is connected securly but it still has no spark at the dis

 

okay i hooked in the vtec and now it started right up and ran.. but anyway i drove it around the block and then it quit running again.. there is a realy box down on the ds by the cluth that keeps cliking and ( im not sure wut its called) it looks like a silinoid on the back of the intake next to the tps.. it has collant lies running to it and it two keeps cliking why?? i figure its prolly fried but i dont even know what it is so if some has some good advice please let me know..
