came home from work heard a noise like a vaccum leak or a bearing, its was kind of low but high pitched, took a mechanics stethascope its coming from the distributor. i never heard anything like it before. anyone with any info for qucik fix i prob look at it before work tomorrow but i cant do anything till next year =p working till the end of the year no days off.

 

sounds like the bearings on your distro are going out..

 

Does it sound like something is loose inside the distributor?

If so the bushings inside of it are probably worn.

I had the same problem once and it even got so bad that it made my intake cam slip.
