My distributor is making some wierd *** noises. It makes a hi pitched squeaking noise that goes away and comes back within a few minutes (sounds like the hamster is getting tired and then starts running faster again, hehe). I took the cap off and I couldn't find anything wrong with it. The distributor is on the engine tight enough too. BTW, this is a B18A in a 90 teg with 230k on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

if you know the noise is coming from the distributor then try another one and see if the problem goes away.
