Default help with diagnosing my problem

so it rained saturday night and my windows were down and my ecu got wet. now the car still runs and theres no cel's, but the car has terrrrible driveability. wont rev fuel smoke everywhere, i just wanted to know if anyone has water damaged an ecu, but it would still run the car, but cause driveability problems. i cant imagine the problem being anything else, but i want to make sure buying a new one will solve the problem. thanks guys

make sure there is no water in the ecu harness plugs either. a compressor with a blower tip should tell the story.

i definately think it's the ecu- the coincidence is too great!

can you borrow one from a friend?
