My brother just got a 93 civic hatch CX, with a d16z6 (delsol si) engine in it...The car has one major problem..When i start my car in first gear to about 3000 (the number 3) rpm its cool, then rite when i shift to second gear and step on the gas, the car suddenly just slow down and lose power, like the more i step on the gas, the more it slow down...., after about 1.5 second as i continue to step on the gas, the car suddenly get back its power and start running like normal. this also happen to third gear and somtime fourth gear.......This problem only happen once in a while like 1/5 chance when i accelerate from zero/mph. Note that my car does not have a header o2 sensor, and my stock muffler is making a funny noise when i accelerate at high rmp...Im not sure if that would be the solution thats making this problem...also just the other day i took the positive cable of the battery out and put it back in to install an amp..im not sure if i reset anything, since it a swap motor, maybe i reset a ecu? :unsure:

i call the guy that my bro bough the car from...he said, he did not change the ecu,,he also say the reason its like that is because vtec kick in,,,But i don't think so!

This is my brother 3rd car this yr......He learn his lesson...never buy a swap motor car!!!! PLEASE HELP>>>>> :werd:
