Help car wont start
one day i was pulling my dash off than went back to start the car and it will turn over but it wont start im getting no spark its a 89 crx si any help would be appreciated thanks

yeah i checked every fuse im thinking it could be the ecu or the coil pack in the distributor but im not sure
and correct me if i'm wrong...
if a power signal exsists at both coil wires with ignition on, this will also determine a bad ignitor...

You have to crank the engine to see if the igniter is grounding the negative side of the coil or not.
But I think there is a certain situation when both poles will have a 12v, normally the 12v signal should be on the blk/yellow w/ ignition on... and the White/blue from the ignitor should only have negative signal... but if the ignitor is bad, in most cases, that white/blue or blue/white will also have that 12v signal when it should not... both poles would be hot...
I'll have to confirm this to refresh my memory... i usually use the method of taking the negative signal from the ECU and supplying that signal directly from the battery to trick the ECU(actually tricking the ignition components) into thinking the motor is spinning, thus sending signal to the ICU,Coil, etc,etc....
