Common sense is seriously lacking here.

If EVERYTHING else electical works fine, WHY would it be the battery??

Check all fuses in the car and under the hood. If they are ok, have a friend that knows what they are doing with a test light or a multimeter check for power at the fog lights and the switch. Did both go out at the same time?

 

sounds like a fuse for the simple fact that everything else works.
