big big problem please help

Default big big problem please help

my dash lights just started flickering out of nowhere. when i turn it on it stays on for a second then turns off then it starts flickering on and off it just happened out of the blue...if ya have any info please help

Yes, if your voltage starts to drop the first thing to go out is the dash lights.

Check your alternator output, battery, battery connections and ground wires.

flickering....check ignition switch contacts....mine did the same.

it's the metal part that gets turned when you turn your key.

Try turning your key half way, and don't let it fall back when it's turned. Key the key turned and if it stays running, it's the ignition switch....it costed me about 40$ at the time for the part, easy to do it yourself.
