I OWN A 93 CIVIC DX AND THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT THAT IS DRAINING THE POWER..AT FIRST I THOUGHT THAT MY BATTTERY WAS OLD SO I BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY BUT 2 DAYS LATER I LOST ALL THE POWER, SO I REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR WITH A BRAND NEW ONE, WITH NEW SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES..BUT 2 DAYS LATER IT DIED..WHAT CAN IT BE..FOR SOME REASON IT IS RUNNING ON MY BATTERY ONCE IT DRAINS ALL THE POWER FROM MY BATTERY THE CAR DIES AND NEEDS A JUMP BUT AFTER A JUMP IT WILL ONLY LAST ABOUT 10-15 MINUTES THEN IT DIES AGAIN..THIS IS THE FIRST PLACE BEFORE I GO TO THE HONDA DEALER SO ANY HELPS PLEASE POST...

 

Check to see if your alternator is charging

 

How do you know if your alternator is charging? Or how do you check it?

 

a volt meter. also check your terminals and wiring from the alternator to the terminals.

And fuses.

 

maybe you got something draining power on right now like a hidden light in your trunk or something,maybe you got some wiring problems from the alternator.,check your ground connection
