Default car gets no power..........

i have a ej8 with a b18c1 i just swapped my altenator and now my car is getting no power at all like theres no battery in it but there is and its good, so i put the old altenator back in to see if that some how did somthing.....wtf happend

get them benched tested at a parts store

and did it work with the old alternator??

If it only happens when you put in the different alternator then get it tested its probably got a short somewhere.

yeah it worked with the old one, i put the old one back in and it still had nothing.....

99.9% it's not the new alternator. let me get this staright, when you installed the new alternator, the car never started correct? you never had power, right?

did you re-connect the battery cables? how about the cables to the alternator?
have you checked fuses and relays under the hood?

yeah new alternator no start, put old one back in no start, all cables are good im about to check all the main fuses right now...where should i check for relays at

just checkd my fuses under my hood the 80amp fuse is blown......

fix the problem had to replace my power distro fuse, but now my battery light is on........
