Re: Car draining battery!!! (MzStreetracer)
my car is doing the same thing! what's going on? funny thing is my alternator is barely 2 months old and so is my battery. last night everything started dimming big time, lucky i was near walmart and bought a new battery that only lasted one fcuken day cuz something is draining my **** like crazy. i'm planning to get oreilly's to check the alternator.
what could it be? what should i check? gounds maybe?

if the alternator checks good then bad grounds could cause this problem. Mine did it and I made a grounding kit and haven't had the problem since. Before getting a grounding kit (this is kinda ghetto) jump the negative battery terminal to one of the motor mount bolts (preferably the one that has the threads sticking upwards on the d-side) with a jumper cable (just the negative side) and tuck away the extra cable nice and neatly where it won't fall downwards while driving. If it stops, then get a good grounding kit preferably 8awg cable. At minimum, ground the motor to the chasis in at least 2 places and ground the motor and the chasis to the negative terminal.
