Default HELP! Can't Remove Intake Manifold Gasket!!

Please help just took off my intake manifold and the gasket is not coming off, i got a few chunks off but other pieces are on their, solid. I've tried everything from scrapers to razors, please help?? Is there a solvent or something I can use to get it off or something?

Gasket remover....sold at all automotive stores. that helped me a little bit, but you still have to scrape alot.

ok got it off but the store didnt have the gasket to replace it? Will this insta-gasket stuff work, says its good to 400 F

I don't think it will work!

Just go to your local honda dealership, and drop 16 bucks or so (i just put my itr I/M on and that is around the cost of a new i/m from honda). You don't wanna go cheap on something like your I/M gasket, just stick with the OEM honda gasket.

If you don't have a gasket, and have to have the car running, the high-temp silicone will work on an intake manifold. I used it on a 240 and it worked fine. but REPLACE IT W/ A GASKET SOON! Don't be ghetto.....
