Default top-end power

I notice that I have a bad power loss especially in 3-5th gear at higher rpm's. I am wondering what could be the problem.

The car stalled on the freeway and I got codes 09 (CYP - cylinder sensor) and 15 (Ignition output signal). The car started after a few minutes. I reset the ecu and checked the wires to the dizzy and found nothing. I used the helms manual to troubleshoot and still found nothing.

The car is throwing no more codes after the ecu was reset but I still notice the power-loss.

Can it be the distributor causing the loss of power and not throwing any codes?

I hate when there is a problem and no code to find out what the hell is causing it.

It's most likely the distributor, I seem problem with this all the time. One thing you could check is hook the digital voltage meter up to the ohm, and check resistence between the Cyl postion sensor. For a honda, It uses a magnetic pickup trigger, so check the resistence between the + wire, and - wire, and it should show some where in the .38 to .42 range with the sensor being cold. Sometimes when there is a problem with the sensor it doesn't throw a check light immediately, so just check all wiring and make sure is properly pin, and if it is, it should be a bad Cyl postion sensor.
