intake manifold gasket wont come off... what will remove it ... chemicals??? HELP ME PLEASE

Default intake manifold gasket wont come off... what will remove it ... chemicals??? HELP ME PLEASE

ok i got my im off out front cuz it was leaking .... i cant seem to get it of ... the gasket is like cooked onto the head... i need to know if anyone knows how to get this **** off ...... is there a chemical that i can use ... try gasket remover from pepboys ... didnt do **** but make a mess.... please someone has to have an idea and done this ... im tired of getting cut with the razor im using lmao let me know /...... if you really think you got ideas call me (pm me for numer) i really appreciate it ... thanks

thanks jurenic... im just really wanting this **** off lmao i have work in the morning and need sleep and cant go till i get this fixed cuz this is what im driving)

its wierd but i used Aircraft stripper when my gasket wouldnt come off and that ****** was toast in 2 mins. lol

First, never post your number on the net , and also, make sure you plug the intake ports before trying to pry it/take it off, and don't use anything sharp to remove it, other than that, I can't tell you what works, since mine always comes off easily.

I used a razor blade.... just be careful not to nick the surface

scrapper? a good one too...not a cheapo 5 dollar one that'll scrath it up. Oh and take ur time when doing things of this sort...don't rush.

y bother with scraping? spray on some aircraft stripper let it sit 3-5 mins and take a crappy towel and wipe it off. then rinse the manifolds surface to be sure that no more stripper is on there.

thanks ....well i got the gasket replaced with the hondata one and i like it ... but now i found another problem... i put gas in the car and **** and after i did that the car just died ... would start up and die again right away....... this isnt the first time its happened ..... i know its getting spark cuz i check though my distributor cap (its clear thats why i bought it lol function and form) but now it almost seems like its not getting any fuel cuz it will idle hard ill give it gas and she will just go KAPUT lmao sooo i duno any ideas on this one fellas .... i know its fuel or maybe even tps sensor lol let me know fellas

sounds like something is not connected right with fuel pressure reg area?
check that and see
