does anyone have a link or something that shows how to take out the stock airbox? i'm having trouble pulling out the box cuz of this damn screw thingy on the front of the box, its not even a screw its like a roundish thing that the front of the box is slid under, and its hard to reach cuz the coolant overflow tank is right there in front of it. can anyone help me out a little?

If the coolant tank is in the way why dont you just pull it off?

 

i had a similar problem when i took my stock air box , what i did was to remove the side marker on the bumper and from there take the screw out ,i don't know if it will work on your car but is worth a try

 

there should be some bolts holding the airbox on, some on the right side of the airbox towards the tranny part. the coolant overflow just pull it straight up.

 

Yeah, I had that same problem. The only thing I remember is it was a b*tch to get out at first.
