i just recharged my ac system today.. before, when i turned on the AC while driving i got no cold air and the compressor wasn't making any noises, but it did engage ..

now, after recharging the system, it blows cold air, but the compressor seems to make a whining noise when i'm revving the engine up above 2.5k rpms and while driving.. it sounds like i've got a superchargert in my car.. what could be the cause of this because its bothering me and i'm afraid i might be harming the compressor/pully system...

AC pulley or other pulley like the alternator could be going bad and about to seize up.
