Default HELP 97 hatch with b16a2 swap ecu problems

hey, a girl here....i recently bought a 97 hatch with a b16a2 swap which ran and drove fine using a p28 ecu but i needed to get it inspected. everything was fine except the obd reader had no connection when they tried to hook it up o i couldnt pass. i know that the p28 is for 92-95 si so i bought a p2t which is for a 99-00si and the wire harnesses from obd2a to obd2b so i could hook up the new ecu. it started up fine and the check engine light was on...the idle was about 500rpms lower than before and it was rough. i had a rough idle before but it was pretty bad this time. the codes were p1259-vtec system maulfunction, which i figured because someone hooked up the vtec wrong, p1508- iac or the idle air sensor valve circut failure, p0135-primary air sensor, p1337-csf crankshaft position sensor and p0141 secondary oxygen sensor which makes sense because the 97 hatch doesnt come with one right? the car ran really wierd, it was stuttering and putting along and had no power compared to before. i ran the codes and then switched back to my p28 for now so i could drive. people have said the ecu could be flashed or something thats why its malfuctioning, and others are saying that i should get all the parts fixed first, but idk if i should dump all of that money in if it doesnt really need it. oh and i also dont have a catalitic converter but thats not a problem for me to pass inspection here in ny i just think i will need one to make the secondary 02 sensor CEL go away. im a girl and i dont know all the lingo yet so please use laymans terms but i really need some help. im also not so handy with wiring

Did you have any codes before? Because you really only should have a code for CKF P1337 and P0141 for the secondary 02 but your car did have one from the factory.

If there was no check engine light on then there was nothing being reported by the ECU.

I'm not sure why some of those trouble codes would show up on the p2t and not on the p28. For the CKF there may be a solution. See the following:
