Default HELP

A couple months ago my car died out of nowhere. I would turn the car over and it would sputter but would not start up at all. I've replaced the Fuel filter, fuel pump, battery, ignition coil, and today threw in a brand new distributor. we tried turning it on, fuel pump came on and tried starting it up it still sputtered but still wouldn't start. any suggestions as to what it could be???

Year and model would help. I would stop throwing parts as well.

Are you getting fuel, spark and compression in the engine? Is mechanical timing good? Check engine codes?

So weak spark, find out why, you said you replaced the coil and the distributor, you say Stop correcting "it's" a "new" distributor, are the parts you been tossing at your car "new" OEM Honda parts or something else?

Also, I did not se ICM, [igniter] on that list of parts, I will assume a new one was in the distributor, [along with another new coil] is that correct?

Have you checked the spark plug leads?
How did you check the spark, did you use an HEI spark tester?
Did you check the spark at each cylinder?
Have you confirmed both mechanical and electrical timing?
Have you done a compression test?

All the above need to be done before you replace parts. 94
