Engine problemo???
help someone
I can't get my motor to crank over
i was at a light and the car just died and never has cranked over
everything that i think could be it has been checked
spark
fuel
and timing
i am about to ripp everything out and re wire it and replace it is pissing me off
can someone help me to start or lead me in the right direction before i tow her to a electrican???
which is hell of expensive

Also, check the battery and alternator. If you are getting spark, how did you test it? You might be getting a spark, but it might not be strong enought to jump the gap. Also, did you check your: fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, injectors, and fuel filter. I know that you said that you checked the fuel system, just want to make sure that you got everything.
Also, how can you check the timing if the car won't start? Check to make sure that the timing belt didn't snap. Sounds pretty lame, but well worth checking out.

yeah, give us some more info on it... but off of what u just said... sounds like what happened to my frends lude, it ended up being the timing belt broke, messed up his whole head.

okay everyone
the timing belt in one the money and am using the toda racing timing belt
the fuel system has been check pump, filter, and rest is AEM brand new double check
the distrubor the ignigtor checnged and still nothing
i got spark, fuel , and timing on
where else
and yeah maybe changing out the distrubor may work
if the cyclinder positioning sensor went out right???

okay the ground system was checked and got the spoon earth ground system for sure to be grounded
and what would u like to know about her
just a lil is it is a 2.1 block with a ported b18c head jdm
of course
and well i figured it out it was when we replaced the bad igniter in the distrubor
the cap was installed 180 degrees wrong
good one huh
i guess the beers were kicking in
so i am back to breaking her in for battle of the import next month
thanks to all for there ideas and suggestions
always

hahahaha, that happened to me, i took mine apart, and put it back together wrong... but my car still ran. just the idle was really weird and we could never get it adjusted rite.... till we actually took the dizzy off, and figured out what had happened....

but it didn't want to start today again but it was cuz the wires keep lossening up
i guess time for new one huh????
maybe the spoon or ultras???
i am using the MSD ones right now
i reget tying to do all msd ingnition
