I have to drive about 20 miles on the highway to my work everyday and i took the exit for my work and when i was downshifting i pushed the clutch in and my car just died. and then it wouldn't start back up for like 10 min. And the same exact thing happened on my way to work today, took the exit went to downshift and car dies!!! it doesn't do it any other time and it doesn't do it on my way home from work. can anyone help me out on this one

you might wanna check your main relay could be getting hot and when you down shift the contacts may move around causing the car too die, see if you can get another one and try it out..
its a d16 with a turbo put in about 4 months ago. its weird cuz it only did this when i get off the highway. Where is the main relay located at?
The problem just keeps getting worse...tonight i was drivin on the highway and i pushed clutch in and the car kind of studdered...like a missfire. As i was coming to a stop i had to keep giving it gas otherwise the car would just die. Then i let the clutch out to start going again and it was like i had no clutch, car just dies. So i'm rolling down a hill and i pop start it and i give it gas to start moving and again it was like i had no clutch...rpm's just got higher but i wasn't moving any faster. Bad neutral saftey switch? i know i have a bad distributor but i don't think that it would cause the car to shut off when i push the clutch in...I'm stumped on this one!
