Heater Hose bypass
I'm not sure if this is the right section but, here's my situation.
I have my h22 out and I'm prepping it to put back in. I was wondering since my new shell (CRX) doesn't have a heater, can I just connect the two coolant outputs that normally go to the heater together? Like get a hose long enough to go from the head over to the other outlet behind the water pump?
I can see on the head I could find a plug and just plug it but, by the water pump, how could I plug that?

Ok. I saw how they sell them for the K-series, so I figured it would work for the H-series. This car will not be driven on the road. As far as that goes, what would prevent me from just taking the thermostat out completely? I know its purpose is to allow the engine to get to operating temp before allowing coolant to circulate, but if its a drag only, I should be fine right?
might get flamed for this
but i dont have a thermosat either, live in Hawaii weather is never under 70 degrees and never over 90 year round. I have read the debate about the water circulating to fast and not actually cooling the block enough but it seems to run fine with no thermostat (technically i have a thermostat but i cut the pring and valve out and just use teh body with gasket. as for the plugs them self they are universal come in a pack of 5 or 6 in assorted sizes, not specific to a engine and can be used on all makes. I believe they were near the vacuum hose adaptors/ blockoffs. I asked an associate for heater hose plugs and he knew exactly what i was talking about i think the pack was less then $5
