1991 Civic Si.....I cant seem to put my finger on this squeek that just started happening about 2 weeks ago after some heavy rains. When I start my car I hear this short squeek from the engine compartment (almost sounds like a belt squeek) but it stops right away. Also, when I drove through a few good-sized puddles it made the exact same squeek but stopped in the same amount of time. What could it be? Thanks...

 

Wet/Cold belts slipping then heating up and expanding and no longer slipping.

Check your belt tensions.
