Default Headlift?

have been driving my car daily now without any problems whatsoever, Laskey built and assembled engine and shawn church tuned.

it made 407whp, and i rarely beat on it. Yesterday was no exception, i build boost but shift early. Well anyways, i was driving around town all day yesterday, with the A/C on and a random CEL comes on. i shut the car off immediately, and restart it, and CEL is gone. The car drives perfectly, nothing wrong that i can tell.

i pop the hood and notice theres a small oil puddle building up between the head and block where the headgasket ID numbers are. (this has shown up once before, i cleaned it and thought nothing of it. ) also i notice that the top radiator hose is swollen huge! it looks likes its about to pop.

i get it home (still driving perfectly fine, and now im babying it ) i let it cool down and begin to check everything. The radiator is still completely full, no oil in the coolant. The reservoir tank is empty. The oil is a bit low but im ASSUMING thats because of the catch can, i empty that catch can and it does have about half of a quart in there (i hope thats the cause ) i do a compression test with the engine cold and i get a perfect 175 all across the board (which rules out the headgasket correct? ) so now is it Headlift the most reasonable culprit? Mike @ laskey racing said to retorque the headstuds, and i am, but this post is more of a "what else can i check to completely eliminate any other possibilities" ?

ARP headstuds, torqued down by mike @ laskey racing to 80-85 ft lbs (i never retorqued them after running and tuning the car )

mishimoto dual core half-size radiator, mishimoto 900cfm fan
1300cfm fan on condenser for A/C
OEM Thermostat
Golden Eagle 83mm Honda Headgasket

ps - also forgot to add that the temperature never climbed, stayed rock solid between 3/4 and half the whole time, even with a/c on.

im not sure what other specs matter on this situation, if anything else, ask and i will post

forgot to mention, the CEL comes on randomly on starts. when i start the car, the CEL will stay on, and if i turn the car off, then back on, the CEL will not come back on. It will come on again randomly on another start.

and as the oil puddle, the bottom bolt of the Distributor is missing, that can also be a possibility of where the oil is coming from.

Is your lower radiator hose hot? If not your thermostat may have gone out. If so, you may still have a head gasket leak. I have had head gasket leaks with no oil in the coolant or vice versa. Can you trace where the oil is comming from exactly?

Yeah the radiator hose is hot, water seems to be cycling through ok, the temp doesn't get any hotter than normal operating temp.

I got a perfect 175 compression on all 4 cylinders I don't think it's my head gasket. No coolant in oil, no oil in coolant, no overheating, no smoke-

It LOOKS like the oil is coming out of that corner where the headgasket ID #s are, but it could be coming down from the distributor o ring and pooling up in that corner as well.

Haven't checked the CEL because I'm on s300 and apparently resets the CELs everytime you turn the car off. And while the CEL was on I wasn't near. Laptop :/.

I AM HAPPY TO REPORT however, that I found my oil leak. The bottom bolt off the dizzy was missing so that's there the oil leak is coming from, then pooling on that corner. I'm assuming my radiator hose is just swelling up because it's just old, so ima replace it. Now I just have to figure out that random CEL

You can leave the car on when you jump the ecu service connector. You don't need a laptop
