oil in rad resevoir?
How Does oil get into a raditor resevoir?? I recently found chunks of oil smothered on my hose. Would it mean that there's a leak in the head somewhere ? The engine is a typical D16y7 auto trans. Thanks in advance

the only time i have seen oil in the coolant like that is a prelude that had a cracked cylinder head.typically honda motors do not mix oil and coolant. it has to be severely bad.
is their oil/mix in the radiator ? look at the radiator cap.

Ouch. maybe that explains the leaks. Any sugestions on what to do? would it be ok to drive daily? which i do on a daily basis anyways lol. How long would its lifespan be?

It's time to fix it. A motor with a problem like yours won't last long unless you fix it. Also, it's not good for the radiator, thermostat, water pump and the rest of the cooling system when oil gets mixed in with coolant.

Re: oil in rad resevoir?
you b3tter hope that it is a head gasket problem and that it is oil because that would mean that all you need to do is a headgasket replacement, because if it is transmission fluid say good by to the automatic clutch because that is made out of cardboard and you will need a new tranny.
i would say do a cylinder leakage test to see what it is exactly
