Default head swap

i'm swapping out my b16 head this weekend for one that is slightly upgraded... just wondering if there's any advice anyone has on what to do, what not to do, (like drain the oil, change out the timing belt and water pump too, stuff like that) etc. thanks

New headbolts if you feel like it. I've gotten away with using some w/ 41k on it.
On the headgasket use some copper spray.

i've got arp headbolts that are going on there, as well as a new headgasket, and a new timing belt, but i hear i should swap out the water pump too, as well as the valve cover gaskets? also, is there any reason to drain the oil? it's almost due for a change, so i might just do it anyways, but i'm just wondering if it's necessary. any kind of problems i can expect to run into?
