Default Head Gasket Removal

I am trying to remove the head gasket but it is sticking like no tomorrow. I am even using a gasket remover tool but it is going veryy slow and not getting all of it off. Does anyone have any tips on a good way to get all of the gasket junk off?

I found the best way was to go to autozone, and buy a pack of 50 (or was it 100) razorblades. Then just extremely carefully, lightly scrape off the headgasket residue by hand with the blades. When it starts getting harder, throw away that razor blade and grab a new one out of the box. I think I went through about 20 blades before my head was done. The most important thing is to make sure you don't put any scratches into the head when removing the gasket.

Good luck,

Ryan P.
