You can find a headgasket for less. Do it right to first time. If you reuse this one you'll be pissed when it blows 2 weeks from now and you have to tear the head off again.

Even since it is a new gasket??
or since it was tourqued on its sealed now, and wont seal again.. I cant get another gasket for 3-4 days, and wanted to do the engine this weekend.. car shows are comin up in 2 weeks, i got alot to do, so if it was ok to reuse this gasket would e sweet. I dont wana miss a car show bc of a damn gasket, so the worst thing to happen would be i might need to tear it apart in a few weeks?? i just wana be able to run the car to make sure everythings ok b4 the show...

Re: (DelSol-B-18)
you cannot use it again.
the headgasket, along with most gaskets, are crushed inorder to seat and seal. being metal, it won't recoil and crush again. one-time use only.
even rubber seals like oil seals, the thermostat gasket, and the valvecover gasket get squished to seal, and really should be replaced anytime you open it up. rubber just unsquishes a little better than metal so you can sometimes get away with using them a couple times.. but still has a good chance of leaking that second time

Re: (MonkeyMagic)
If your fine about taking the head off again then knock yourself out, its not our motor. There is a strong possibility of leaks so just watch it.
