Head bolts stripped threads in block
Just did an LS/VTEC conversion on my 92 teg. Didn't know I was supposed to use GSR head bolts. I used the b16 head bolts from the head I had and they stripped the threads in the block. I was just wandering if anybody else has had this problem and what they did to fix it.
honestly, take it to a good machine shop and tell them what happened and how it needs to be, they can fix it, id just be careful not to mess it up to the point where it gets really expensive to fix

Good info! I've used heli-coils for my valve cover as well as transmission bracket. Never knew about this timeserts though and wish I had then.
