Having problems with my MAP help!!!!
what's up HT.....well i throwing a code 3 which is the map sensor.... so i've checked the voltage at the sensor and i'm getting 5v at the power pin 2.89v at the signal pin and 0v and the ground pin... and when i use my hand vac on the map the signal voltage doesn't change at all.....i've checked the signal voltage at the ecu and it's the same 2.89v....i thought that the signal voltage came from the map not the other way around.....has anybody had this problem or can shine a light onto what's going on here...o yeah i've changed the map sensor sever times and i still get this code...thanks for looking at my thread...

you may have a vacuum leak causing the map to read incorrectly. Happened to me with my 404's in my LS, but you dont have cams, so its just a guess.
map sensors kinda tricky...if you don't have the right voltage *meaning wire isn't connected completely or ran through switch, etc*, its gonna go off. or clogged vacuum line....Either way, it's gotta be a vacuum problem at the sensor, or eletrical....Just look at the wires to see if any of them are cut and touching metal, that'll do it too.
map sensors too damn sensative to everything... I've had many o problems with map sensors.
