Default Hardwiring question?

I am fed up with trial and error on the count that i am using a dx harness on a b16 in a car that was originally wired for the b16! So I am going to hard wire the sensors that are having trouble! My question is this!
When the ecu is showing only one output to the sensor, and the sensor has a 2 wire plug, does that mean that the sensor has a ground?
E.g.. engine coolant temp, Intake air temp, Idle control system?

Gotta look at the wiring diagram. Get a Helm book. Sometimes it's a ground, sometimes it's +12v power.

temp sensors are called thermistors....power goes in through one wire, the sensor give resistances depending on temp and use...all temp sensors should have 2 wires.both going back to ecu...correct me if I'm wrong...Sup Matt

Which sensor are you trying to hard wire? Maybe I can look it up in the Helm's and help you out
