Default Hanging wire

I just bought a 93 civic ex coupe with the stock motor in it. The prevous owner had it running on a p06 ecu and put headers on it and relocated the battery to the back. This morning i was looking around the motor cause i smelled gas. will i found where it was coming from but i also saw this wire hanging. it is by the starter coming out of the harniess. does anyone know where this might go? is it ok to be hanging? thanks for looking.

Header, thats what the previous owner put on it. Header as in singular, not plural.

I can't really tell in the pics, but if the previous owner relocated the battery then it's probably the factory power wire for the starter. When relocating the battery a lot of people run new, larger gauge wires from the battery to the starter and alternator. If that's the case you can just hide the wire or cut it out of the harness.

Oh don't let me get to you. I am not solely picking on you. Theres alot of us around here that have a huge pet peeve when someone says "Headers" or "VTECH" and just can't resist correcting them.

I think this is correct. I took the far right picture the OP posted and blew it up on my computer and it looks like the wire that plugs into the place in the picture below. Sorry for the pic. It was taken a long time ago with a shitty camera.
