I have accord i hit a deer on 3 years ago car has been sitting 3 years so i get the great idea to fix the car now 3 years later. i put new oil in it. i spun the engine over for awhile to try to get the oil moving in the engine. then when i started it knocked like hell. then stopped with in a second. i let it idle till engine was warm. no knock at idle or driving up the road. but setting still if you rev it up quick it sounds like its spark knocking. then if you hold it at say 4000rpms it has no knock. only knocks when you blip the throttle. going to try some 93 fuel with some fuel injector cleaner in it. im sure it had 1/4th a tank of 3 year old gas.its a h22 if that matters.

 

If i recall correctly the h22 recommends at least 91 octane fuel. so that could be your problem.

 

got it fixed had i guess the injectors where gummed up. drained out all the old gas. It started skipping so i took the injectors out and cleaned them runs like a champ.
