Default h22 head on h23 bottom end

alright the other night while out street racing everyone got on the topic of this swap i hear that if you take the h22 vtec head and put it on the h23 non vtec bottom end you can make some crazy power and tq is this true? i also hear that it is as simple as the head swap is this true? no oil lines to tap or anything? is this setup as unreliable as the ls/vtec b20/vtec? is it even possible? any help would be appreciated

yes it is possible and done many times. It is almost the same thing as doing lsvtec or b20vtec but i don't know if you have to run an oil line or not. And they do make good power, thinking of doin it in my coupe

yea its the same thing as the other frankenstein setups you need to change your timing belt and oil pump and water pump... and you need oil lines.. and if done right you;ll be shitting on ls vtecs and b20vtecs...
