Default torque

Does anyone know if the engine torque specs are different between the h23 and h22.

About the same...like 156 compared to 159, somewhere around there.

Yes I just got my h22 rebuilt and I need to bolt the head back on.

Oh, well you said 'engine torque specs', sorry...you might want to think about how you word things if you wanted the head bolt torque specs.

Do not torque the head bolts to 156 ft/lbs.

You need to get a manual before you do this stuff, but head bolts are a 3-step tq process, and you need to do them in a certain order so you don't warp the head. It's 29 ft/lbs, 51 ft/lbs, then 72 ft/lbs and you start from the center and criss-cross your way out.
