H22 Crank bolt came loose and stripped.
Just like the title says, just came loose one day and when I went to tighten it, it would not tighten and just heated up. When I took the bolt out, it heated soo much the bolt was too hot to hold.
I searched on here and not much info besides tap and die but for something this high torque. Anybody know of which kit, thread type, size, ect.. to get that would work for this bolt. I even posted the part number for replacement bolt I picked up at the dealer.
Thanks guys.

Ask a local machine shop they should be able to get you taken cared of... your going to want the same pitch if you go a different size bolt.
lol when i first got my turbo h crx running, went down the street got on it.... shifted... car turned completely off...couldn't figure what the heck it was.... towed it back to garage look at crank pulley and bolt was loose and crank pulley was loose lol... I got lucky I had to spend about 30 minutes to line up the crank pulley with the keyway with no way of seeing to line up and had to turn slight try it, back off and try moving it again got lucky, got it all aligned and fired her up no issues....
Use a good torque wrench and to honda specs think its 180 not sure off hand and loctite if ****

I cant find a local machine shop that would do that, since the car does not drive and no machine shop would take the car. And no local shop that I can find to do the work here in south florida.
I guess what i'm looking for is what kit, to try and save my motor and get my car back on the road.

How bad are the threads in the crank? If they're not too bad, hopefully you can restore them so you can use the factory bolt. The thread size on that bolt is M14x1.25. Since that is the same thread/pitch as a spark plug hole, I'd try to run a spark plug thread chaser into the crank. This would be better than an actual tap because chasers don't remove as much material.
Google search "Lisle LIS20020" for the tool I'm talking about. It's worth a try before resorting to something more drastic.
