Default Guage Cluster "zero out" - HOW?

Car wont read idle or the speedo 0 when parked... the idle is VERY high and the speedo reads like 10mph as soon as the car is started... Its constant and doesnt jump around so I dont think its broken, but how can I zero these puppies out? Thanks guys!

Default Re: Guage Cluster "zero out" - HOW? (sparq)

Well seems the problem is with the Canadian EX/SI cluster in, the needles jump for some reason when the key is turned to ACC - and they stay there and this is their "0 point" once the car is started. Seems to be pulling on the "Backup Light" fuse, I yank it and the guages drop - but then I have no guage readings or guage lights at all - NOR does my clock work. When the Clock fuse and Instrument Cluster fuses are in place. If I put back my old cluster there are no problems.

But why would it be drawing extra current all of a sudden? Anyone got any ideas come on
