GSR Vtec wiring problem in EG
sorry to bring back an old post, but did you fix this yet?? im having the same problem, but with an ls/vtec in a 92 integra. was running a fields controller on stock ecu, now im using a p28 chipped.
I used my old DX harness for my 96 gsr swap in my 94 civic and I had to hook up a vtec solenoid wire, vtec oil pressure wire, and a ground. This is with a obd1 gsr usdm computer. My vtec works fine, so make sure you have all the wires hooked up.Good Luck if you havent already fixed it.
Did you use a ground? Cuz if not then vtec wont work, this is what happened to my friends car after the swap and no ground the vtec didnt work.

how do you ground the vtec?? where's the wire on the harness?? thanks.. myabe thats my problem also
