Default GSR swap need help

I have a GSR Obd 1 head w/itr cams and b18c block running a skunk2 intake manifold with a S80 transmission but my issue is the ECU. The car came with a p28-a02 ECU I know this can't be right and if I'm not mistaken this ECU is for an automatic. The car runs ok but feels like I'm towing another car and the car doesn't really come alive till 7000rpm. My question is can I change out with another p28 ECU that's is for a manual and this will fix my problem or can I get a Obd 1 ECU that is for a GSR and use it even if I'm not using then stock manifold that has the butterfly valve? The car is a 93 coupe and everything else us fine except how the car pulls and vtec does work

P28-a02 is a manual version, but in a stock version it runs way too lean for the B18c1, and redline is too low. Stock P72 will work but VTEC change over is at 4400rpm it will cause some bogging. To resolve - either chip it, or purchase already chipped p28/p30/p72 ecu. Many options.

I send all my ecu work to John @ j-k tuning in PA ship to him and for like 50-75 he will chip and base map your ecu. He is verrrry good look him up on google. DYNO tuning there is real reasonable too
