Depends if its a obd0, obd1, obd2 car. The harness has to match the car. What year car is it and the si I think is a obd2.

I think the 96 gsr is obd1. So get a obd1 Ls,gsr,b16, harness and it sould work.

96 gsr is obd2. I have a 96 GSR with its original harness all obd2 in a 93 Del Sol. Everything in the engine bay is still plug and play and just run a chipped obd1 ecu to be able to disable what you dont want ot run.
