Default GSR rod question

I am trying to figure out what rod bearings I should buy for my rebuild on my GSR and my Helm manual says to check the number printed on the rod and the number stamped on the crank. With those numbers you can use a table to figure out what rod bearing you need. The number on the rod should be 1,2,3, or 4 acordding to the Helm manual. Well my new rods say 25? Anybody know what 25 means. Thanks.

Bump. Come on anyone? I know people out there have rebuilt a GSR. What rod bearings do you use?

The number will be stamped on the side of the rod, where it bolts together. Half of the number will be on the main part of the rod, and the other half will be on the part that bolts up. You'll use those numbers in conjunction with the numbers stamped on the crank to get your bearing colors.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by B18C_EJ8 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">The number will be stamped on the side of the rod, where it bolts together. Well the number is 25 and I was expecting to see 1,2,3,or4. Does that mean they are .25 mm over?

I was comparing the rods against some old ones I had and the rods are not even stamped p72. I bought these off a guy and here are the pictures of them that he had.

Any ideas? also My old rods are engraved with a 2 and the new rods have black stamps that say 25.

WTF?
