Default GSR Rev Limit = ?

Just to clarify, because i want to get a set of itr/ctr cams and want to make sure I am taking advantage fully of their perf without having to change the internals (like springs etc) and ecu. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you could essentially just swap these bad boys in and then rev every time to like 8300rpm. If i were to stop at 8 or 8100, i would be cutting myself short. However, i want to get the real place where the rev limiter kicks in.

Does this strategy even make sense?

pls help. Thanks.

Your redline is whereever you want it to be, but the cams are not the limiting factor. To rev higher, stiffer valve springs and titanium retainers would be a good start.
