Default gsr motor built

I was planning to built the motor but I was wondering if I should built bottom end 1st or the top? I'm not planning to boots. I just want a good motor with high rev and goot bottom end. any help????thanks....

build the bottem end first, that's the part that requires alot more labor

thanks...what kind of brand piston and rods should I use? and should I replace the crankshaft? or even bore the engine? what about the oil pump and pick up? headgasket and head bolt?

eagle rods, je pistons, arp head studs......its sounds like your going all motor. In that case run all oem internals there is no sense in spending all the extra money. Reving a motor will not accomplish anything for yourself unless you have a nice set of cams and head mods to back it up ie. springs, reatainers etc etc. Most if not all amatuer na setups use stock lower ends, at the most you can run ctr/itr internals to boost compression. As for your stock crank...........no reason at all to even think about it. HOnda owns

You guys been helpful and i just want to say thanks again... I'm thinking of all motor but what if I was only to replace the bottom with rods, piston, and rings. for the head a pair of stage 2 cams, valves, springs. what kind of power would I be looking at? what can i except to get out of it?

it depends on what you buy cuz different products produce different power levels
