Ok, me and and a friend were just experimenting, and wondered what would happen if we put his extra GSR ECU in my car. I have a D16y8. Both are OBD2, so it plugged right in. When I drove it, it was quicker. But can anyone think of any problems this could cause??

 

it would run RICH and no secondaries.rev limiter too high for stock and vtec crossover all messed up

 

fuel map is completely different... VTEC is set for an 8100 redline AND secondaries....

i wouldn't do it

 

if it runs then have fun....just watch the rev limit

 

Yea, runs rich as ****. I never reved it past the original redline, that's just kinda damn stupid. I took it out today though. Was just somethin we were wondering about.
