i did a gsr swap into my buddies 92 si hatch this weekend and it worked awsome except the gsr has a knock sensor and the si doesnt, so when you start the car its fine untill you put a load on it and drive it then the engine light come on and it give out a code (32 i think?!) but its for the knock sensor and i was wondering how to corect the problem?

 

add knock sensor and wire it up to ecu or shock tower

Where the engine harness plugs into the interior harness... I'm pretty sure you meant 23 as it is the KS CEL... You'll need to run a wire all the way out from the ECU to the KS itself, this will come from point D3... As most of you know I'm a perfectionist especially when it comes to wiring so I personally would pull off all the loom from the interior/motor harness to add the one wire... Once you got it in, wrap the loom, plug in the KS, and you're set... Most people wouldn't take the time to wire it the way I do so if you just wanna run the wire out through the firewall, it's perfectly fine... Good Luck
