GSR bogging after vtec??
So I bought a 91 hatch with a 94 obd1 gsr swap. The guy I bought is from saids after he put in the Eldebrock Victor X manifold, it's been bogging at high rpm's. So yea, thats basically the problem..low end power is ALL there but 5k + it bogs BAD and vtec sometimes works and shuts down. I got a CEL code 22 for vtec oil pressure switch. I changed the vtec selonoid and tried other ecu's and it still does the same shyt. Should I just take his word and put the stock manifold and see what happens??

The pressure switch tells the solenoid there is enough oil pressure to allow the VTEC system to activate. Change/swap/diagnose the vtec oil pressure switch and then see what happens. The ECU probably thinks there isn't enough pressure, hence VTEC not activating.

I don't have the manual handy, but if its a 2 pin switch, it should have power on one pin, and the other pin should go to the ECM, telling the computer the switch is either open or closed. You could try jumping the terminals(if there are 2) to fool the ECM into thinking the switch is closed, and see what happens.
