Default Gs-R Slave cylinder problem

It seems like the slave cylinder becomes "dry" or short of lubricant after driving the car for about an hour, but is okay after sitting for a while. Does this mean its going bad or can it be lubricated to fix the problem. The signs of this problem are the clutch looses smoothness and becoems more tense, and makes a dry squeeking noise when releasing or engaging the clutch. If anyone knows whats up, help me out. thanks

Kyle

Maybe try bleeding the line a little bit..

I don't know much about that thing. You can probly pick up a new one for really cheap (the line too).. I believe you can use a slave cylinder from a civic too, but not the line. (96-00 as far as I know)

i've been having the exact same problems....i've replaced both the slave and master cylinders, and the problems keep coming back. i've also tried the good ol' "remove the slave cylinder and grease the ball tip" trick, and that didn't do ****.

hit me up if you know/fix anything....i'm guessing that it's probably the clutch fork.

It must be the clutch fork, but that means the trans has to come off to either replace or grease that fork up. Yea that might get expensive for alittle grease. Thanks.

i'm probably gonna wait until my oem clutch is shot to drop the tranny -- might as well kill two birds w/one stone

Yea its been determined it is the slave cylinder, its all dried up outside and im sure it is inside, im goign to try to grease the outside again and see what it does, otherwise in a few k ill changed the clutch and the slave cylinder, i also have a slight leak from my clutch master cylinder. Nothing major, but ill nock out all the problems at once. I am at 79,000. But plan on a new clutch by spring for my turbo setup.
