Default clutch problem need help

ok so here is the problem, I drove my car from my house to school and then back and then let it sit on the driveway for like 5 hours and when I was gonna move it inside the garage, I noticed that the clutch was really soft and the gears won't engage. Anyone know what could be the problem?? Is there an adjustment for the clutch pedal? the car is a 98 GSR... or could it be the master cylinder?? I checked it and it's leaking could this be the problem?? any info would be great tnx

Yeah thats most likely the problem. I have the same problem and am installing a new master cylinder tomorrow. While you are at it you might as well do the slave cylinder as well. I picked up my master cylinder for 90 something at the local parts store, and the slave cylinder was only about 17 bucks plus tax. You might be able to find the master cylinder a little cheaper, I just didn't have the patience to shop around.

I have installed the master cylinder before, its not hard at all, just kind of a bitch getting to it. It helps to take out your front seat to make more room. Heres a link to an article that shows you how to do it:

Good luck..
